CrankForge

Privacy

CrankForge connects to Strava so it can rename eligible generic ride and run titles.

What we store

We store your Strava athlete ID, first name, OAuth access and refresh tokens, connection status, selected activity names, and basic rename logs needed to operate the service.

What we do not store

We do not store your Strava password. Strava login is handled by Strava OAuth. We do not sell personal data.

How activity data is used

When a new activity is received, CrankForge checks whether it is an eligible ride or run with a generic title. If eligible, it selects an unused replacement from a local title bank. Athlete activity data is not sent to OpenAI. OpenAI may be used separately to top up generic reusable title banks without athlete data.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect from the CrankForge dashboard. You can also revoke access from your Strava account settings.

Independent app

CrankForge is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava.
